High school is about preparation and purpose.

Students are preparing for college, careers, and life beyond CAK, but they are also solidifying their worldview and shaping the kind of adults they will become.

At CAK High School, we challenge students academically while anchoring them spiritually. In a covenant community of believers, faith and learning remain connected. Students are encouraged to ask hard questions, engage thoughtfully, and develop convictions that will sustain them long after graduation.

Rigorous Academics

At CAK, our high school students are challenged to think critically, work diligently, and pursue excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Our rigorous academic program prepares students for college and beyond while encouraging curiosity, leadership, and personal growth.

With 95 college credit hours available through dual enrollment and advanced coursework, students have opportunities to graduate with a significant head start on their college journey. The Class of 2026 continued CAK’s strong tradition of academic achievement, with 30 students earning a 30 or higher on the ACT, representing over one-third of the graduating class. Whether students are pursuing advanced STEM courses, fine arts, business, or humanities, they are supported by teachers who know them personally and challenge them to reach their full potential.

Spiritual Life

Spiritual growth is woven into everyday life at CAK. Our high school students are encouraged to deepen their faith, build authentic relationships, and serve others through a variety of leadership and discipleship opportunities. From leading worship and mentoring younger students to participating in small groups and Bible studies, students are equipped to live out their faith both on campus and beyond it.

Students can get involved through Worship Band, Teen Advisors, Middle School Bible Studies, Connect Groups, Chapel Leadership, Spiritual Leadership, Prayer Groups, and the Spiritual Life Intern program.
These opportunities allow students to lead, encourage others, and grow in their walk with Christ while helping create a strong Christ-centered community throughout the school.

Clubs, Activities & Athletics

Learning extends far beyond the classroom at CAK. High school students are encouraged to get involved through a wide variety of clubs, organizations, leadership opportunities, fine arts, and athletics. Whether discovering a new passion, serving others, competing as a Warrior, or building lifelong friendships, students have countless ways to connect, grow, and make the most of their high school experience. These opportunities help students develop leadership, teamwork, character, and confidence while preparing them to impact the world for Christ.

  • What is the school day schedule?

    Our high school is on a modified block schedule. All eight classes meet on Mondays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are classes 1-4. Wednesdays and Fridays are classes 5-8.
    • 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
    • 9:00 am - 3:30 pm (Warrior Wednesdays)
    • 8:30 am - 2:40 pm (Fridays)

  • What about lunch?

    Lunch is included in tuition for all high school students. Through CAK’s partnership with SAGE Dining Services, students enjoy healthy, all-you-can-eat meals made from scratch with a variety of daily options like hot entrees, salads, and sandwiches. SAGE also prioritizes allergy awareness and nutritional needs, giving families peace of mind.

  • Will my student have summer reading and assignments?

    Yes. Each high school grade level has a summer reading book selected specifically for its students. AP, DE, and Honors classes also have summer reading and specific assignments to be completed before the beginning of the school year.   • Do students complete service hours?

    Yes. Service and leadership are an important part of the high school experience at CAK. In 9th grade, students complete 10 service hours on CAK’s campus, helping support and serve the school community. In 10th grade, students complete 10 off-campus service hours through community involvement opportunities.

    Beginning in their junior year, students start developing their Capstone Project by researching ideas and presenting a proposal. The 40-hour Capstone Project typically begins during the summer before senior year and is completed during the first semester of senior year. During the second semester, seniors present their Capstone experience, sharing what they learned, accomplished, and how the project impacted their personal growth and future goals.

  • Do HS students have a uniform?

    Yes, our high school students wear uniforms, just like the rest of our campus community. Uniforms can be purchased from Lands’ End, Tommy Hilfiger, or My APlus Uniforms, and our BSN online store offers spiritwear options.

  • What technology do high school students use in the classroom?

    As a 1:1 Apple Technology school, every high school student at CAK is issued a MacBook Air at the beginning of their freshman year or upon enrollment. Students use their device throughout
    the school year to support learning, collaboration, research, and creativity across all subject areas. At the end of each school year, devices are returned to the school and reissued to students the following fall.

  • Do high school students have opportunities for travel?


    Yes! Students can participate in optional Biblical education tours that bring Scripture to life by visiting places where biblical history unfolded. Recent trips have included Egypt, while previous tours explored Italy and Turkey to trace the birth and spread of Christianity.
